Prior to entering the gaming business, Mr. Druck practiced law in Minneapolis for 25 years and specialized in commercial real estate transactions. During that time he performed all legal services necessary for the development of many thousand residential dwelling units, and commercial property well in excess of 2,000,000 square feet. He also performed legal services for numerous hotel and resort properties in more than 15 states, including land and project acquisition, zoning, interim and permanent financing, operations, syndication and ultimate disposition. Mr. Druck was involved in the development of the Oxboro Redevelopment Area located in the vicinity of 98th Street and Lyndale Avenue in Bloomington, Minnesota. Mr. Druck was selected by the City of Bloomington to be the redeveloper of that area in November 1984. Mr. Druck’s successful development of in excess of 300,000 square feet of retail and office space, and his land use planning accomplishments in the remainder of the 106-acre Oxboro redevelopment area caused him to be named “Developer of the Year” by the Bloomington Chamber of Commerce in 1987. In addition to the practice of law, Mr. Druck is an accomplished horseman. He has been active in, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Minnesota Thoroughbred Association. Mr. Druck was a founding Board member of Minnesota Festival of Champions, Inc., a non-profit corporation formed to promote the horse racing industry. He served as President during its inaugural year.
